Dewey's 24-Hour Read-A-Thon

A night person I am not...never have been...not even a little bit. Growing up, my mother never had to fuss at me about going to bed on time. During my college years, dancing the night away at my favorite dance club kept me awake for sure, but that was the only thing. My personal best in pulling an all-nighter to finish a paper was 11:00 p.m. Sad, but true.

However, in five days, on Saturday, April 23rd, I'm going to attempt the impossible. I will be participating in the Dewey's 24-Hour Read-A-Thon. This will be my first RaT and I am so excited. Since, I have fallen behind in my reading challenges, I plan to use this time to catch up on my reading and maybe sneak in a new release or two. ;-}

During the event, I will be updating my progress here on my blog and will write a wrap-up post of my experience once I've rested and recovered from staying up all night.

If you would like to participate, click the link to sign-up. Hope you join me for a night of reading, fun, and more reading!!

  1. I'm doing the Dewey Readathon too! So excited for this Saturday, and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing since this is my first time. If you are interested, and this was quite helpful for me, there is a club on Goodreads all about it with info and details, etc,:

    Good luck to both of us!

    1. Yay! I think us RaT first-timers are going to do just fine. We are in this together. :) I joined the GR group when I signed up for the RaT. Without joining, I would be completely lost. Thanks for stopping by!
