Firstborn by Lorie Ann Grover-Official Book Trailer

Firstborn, a YA fantasy novel, by Lorie Ann Grover releases next week on Tuesday, February 11. To celebrate, Grover is hosting a book launch party. As part of the festivities, I posted my birth order story on Grover's Facebook page* and thought I would share it on my blog as well.

Without further adieu: The birth order of Stephanie L. Tullis...

I'm the third of four girls with an eight-year gap between the second daughter and me. My father wanted a boy...a junior. Though I wasn't his desired gender, my father still received his wish. Father Stevenson meets daughter Stephanie. I'm extremely grateful that my mother didn't name me Earline Stephanie to match the actual order of my father's name, Early Stevenson. It was interesting growing up. As my older sisters moved out, more responsibility fell to me; but being the knee baby, I escaped the more serious duties. Even though I was second to the youngest, I was the oldest of the second set of children, and my father's firstborn. I had a wonderful childhood and wouldn't trade it for the world. If I had to name a drawback, it would be that the middle kids (me being one of them) were not blessed with any great vocal ability. But, I sing anyway...to my heart's content. Ha! :)

Now, for the book trailer...
